About The Cenacle Room

The Cenacle Room was created as a peaceful place where people can come together in prayer, encouragement, and faith.

We all experience moments when we need someone to pray for us. We also experience moments when God places someone else on our heart who needs prayer. The Cenacle Room brings those two moments together.

Here, you can share a prayer request, pray for someone else, give thanks for answered prayer, and encourage others in their walk with God.

The Cenacle Room grew from a personal journey of faith, restoration, and a desire to help others experience the love of God.

I grew up in Enfield, Connecticut, and was raised in the Catholic faith. Like many people, my journey of faith has had seasons of closeness and seasons when I found myself farther away from the Church. Through difficult experiences in life, I came to recognize how deeply I needed God and how important it was to place my trust in Him.

Returning to faith became a turning point in my life. As I opened my heart to Jesus again, I discovered a deeper sense of peace, hope, and love that I wanted to share with others.

In 2014, I had the blessing of serving on a prayer team with Father Bill McCarthy at My Father’s House in Moodus, Connecticut. We prayed with people who were experiencing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. I witnessed many people experience healing, encouragement, and a beautiful touch from God through prayer. Seeing lives renewed and people strengthened in their faith was a profound blessing and deepened my desire to pray with and for others.

Today, my wife and I live in Virginia, where our shared faith continues to be an important part of our life together. We are blessed to be part of a wonderful Catholic community and to continue growing in faith.

The Cenacle Room grew out of that journey. My hope is to create a place where people can come together in prayer—to share their needs, pray for one another, encourage each other, and discover that they are never alone in their struggles.

Why The Cenacle Room?

The word Cenacle refers to the Upper Room in Jerusalem, the place where Jesus gathered with His disciples before His Passion and where the apostles gathered in prayer with Mary after His Ascension.

It was a place of prayer, fellowship, waiting, and preparation. It reminds us that faith is not meant to be lived alone.

The Cenacle Room is inspired by that spirit.

It is a place where people can come together in prayer, bring their needs before God, pray for one another, give thanks, and encourage each other in faith.

My hope is that every person who visits The Cenacle Room will feel welcomed to pause for a moment, turn toward God, and know that someone is praying with them.

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”

Acts 2:42

Our Hope

Our hope is simple: that The Cenacle Room becomes a place where people can come when they need prayer, and a place they can return when someone else needs prayer.

We believe that prayer brings people together. It reminds us to slow down, to listen, to trust God, and to carry one another's burdens.

Whether you are sharing a prayer request, praying for someone you have never met, or simply taking a quiet moment with God, you are welcome here.

May this be a place where prayer becomes a bridge between hearts, and where faith, hope, and encouragement are shared freely.
